Residency Verification Dates
Residency Verification for the 2026-2027 school year has been set for Tuesday August 4th, 2026 from 7:30am-6:30pm at the CCLD Library for all returning students in the district. We ask that you enter through door #27 on the west side of the Harold and Jean Miner Auditorium. New Student residency verification (excluding kindergarten students) must be completed at the District Office at 203 N Third St. in Ashkum. Please call 815-698-2212 extension 2500 for availability.
Acceptable Forms of Documentation for Residency Verification
You must provide documentation showing you and the student(s) live at the address you list on the residency form. Please check and present three (3) of the following documents. You may only use one document from each category (i.e. only one utility bill will be accepted under that category). Copies will be made (if necessary) and your original documents will be returned to you. Any account numbers or social security numbers will be blacked out on district copy.
All documents must be original. Copies will not be accepted.
All documents must be current, no older than three (3) months old and show your name and physical address.
You must provide a total of three (3) documents. One (1) from Category I and two (2) documents for Category II listed below

Category I: (One document required) □ Current Mortgage Statement (most recent) □ Home Ownership Title or Deed □ Current Signed Lease and proof of payment □ Current Property Tax Bill with Proof of Payment or Escrow Documentation

Category II: (Two documents required) □ Current Vehicle Registration □ Current Utility Bill (*Electric, Gas, or Water) □ Current Homeowners / Renters Insurance □ Driver’s License / Illinois ID □ Current Voter Registration □ Public Aid Documentation or Official Mail from Public Aid Office with Current Address |
