Central CUSD 4 would like to congratulate Mr. David Payne on being awarded the 2026 Empowering Education Grant through Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative. Mr. Payne submitted an application for the $500 grant based on a project to support students in their fitness journey by learning how to functionally move with a barbell, and to develop fitness, coordination, and confidence within a fitness setting.
We are very proud of Mr. Payne for taking the initiative to apply for this grant and for the great work he is doing in supporting students in the area of physical fitness.
