Hello! My name is Mrs. Monk! This is my ninth year teaching preschool in this district. While teaching here in Ashkum, I have taught all levels of preschool: self-contained special education, blended programs and the at-risk program.
I was born and raised in Kankakee. I now live in Herscher with my husband Warren. I attended Central through eight grade then transferred to Bishop McNamara. I received my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Illinois University.
I love showing young children that learning is fun. I am honored to be teaching your child and seeing so many familiar faces everyday.
