The Nash Student Council is hosting our first ever Open Gym Night to help raise money for Let It Be Us.

Did you know that in the United states 400,000 children are in foster care? That is about 18,000 children in the state of Illinois. Let It Be Us is a charity dedicated to the adoption and education of those children in foster care. They also offer summer camp programs that help children experience a sleep away or day camp. Through Let It Be Us these children are able to go to camp free of charge. Our goal is that we here at Nash can raise $400 for  Let It Be Us.

Open Gym will be Tuesday, March 14 from 5pm-7pm in the Rocket Center and Nash Cafeteria. We ask that you bring in a donation for Let It Be Us in order to get in. We will be having a free throw competition, dodgeball tournament, 5 on 5 basketball tournament, craft/coloring center, a game table (please feel free to bring your own games), and a few other activities. Concessions will also be available. All proceeds from concessions will also be donated to Let It Be Us. We hope to see all of you there for fun, food and activities.
