2016-2017 Coming Soon!
May 31, 2016
The 2016-2017 school year will begin my twelfth year as a seventh grade teacher. Several years ago, I graduated from Monmouth College and continued on to Eastern Illinois University to obtain my masters in educational administration. Originally I am from Chicago but love the small town atmosphere. I live in Crescent City with my husband and daughers, Kate and Annalise.
This coming year, I will teach 7th grade math and communications. We have a unique schedule with a block and half of math to allow extra time for math application and a half block for communications class.
The theme for the 2016-2017 school year will be based on the book, Energy Bus for Kids, by Jon Gordon, which is story that will teach kids how to stay positive and find their inner motivation and pass on that positive. I look forward to the upcoming year and will work over the summer, while also enjoying my family, on making next year FABULOUS!
Have a great summer and remember to continue to practice your math. Below are a few helpful links.
