Volleyball For the Cure Night Thursday, September 22 against Watseka.
Come out and support the Comets and the cause |
The talented JV showed their potential last Saturday during the JV tournament hosted here at Central. Their team efforts were amazing and the volleyball skills were evident. They went through pool play being undefeated to take on Watseka in the championship match. The ladies came out strong and split, taking it to three games. Loosing their momentum, they fell to the Warriors to finish 2nd out of 10 teams. The girls played well and I am very proud of how much they have developed so far. The girls are now 8-2. We will have a rematch against Watseka on Thursday, September 22. Come out to support the girls and wear your pink for Volley for the Cure! |

The JV squad has four returning sophomores: Taylor H, Kaelyn V, Sara L., DJ T., and one new sophomore addition, Abby O. The freshman squad will consist of seven young women; Alie H., Makaila P., Jenny L., Alexa W., Kennedy H.,Brooke W., and Caitlyn H., I look forward to a great season. |
