Central starts off the year against Paris on August 27th, 2010

Players to watch: Paris: RB/LB Scott Lawrence, WR/DB Clay Mason; Central: RB/LB David Payne, QB Trent Faulkner.
Notes: Central isn't taking in visitors from France for its season opener, but are hoping to make the visiting Tigers feel as if the game of football is a foreign concept. The Comets have handled their guests rather easily the past two seasons and Class 2A's No. 5 team is hoping to keep that trend going behind experienced units on both the offensive and defensive sides of the football. The Tigers didn't have much luck stopping Payne, Faulkner and multi-positional threat Kyle Frake last season and odds are they will have the same difficulties this time around too.
