The Comets in action during the Regional Championship in 2009.

Last season, the Comets (15-15) were able to get back to the regional title game, losing 55-53 to a talented PBL team (25-5). While the 2009 team had several experienced upperclassmen that will definitely be missed, there were also younger players that made worthwhile contributions and will be challenged to build on that foundation.
