Welcome to my web page. It has been my pleasure to work with the LD children in Central School District for the past 25 years. This year, I am excited about coteaching reading and language arts in Mrs. Felesena and Mrs. Morse's classes. I enjoy working with all the students and giving LD and regular ed students support in the regular classroom setting.
I received a BSE with a double major in elementary and special education from Northern Illinois University. I have taken graduate hours in learning disabilities from Governor State University. In the past, I taught two years at the Kendall County Co-op in a self-contained classroom and worked for two years with developmentally disabled adults at United Developmental Services. I live in Limestone with my husband who is a retired fifth grade teacher. I have three grown children.
Reading is a favorite subject of mine. I encourage you to read with your child every night. The best way to become a good reader is to read! You can give your child this special gift of reading. We encourage all students to strive for the AR party each quarter.
Annual reviews will be in April this year. I am looking forward to meeting with you to discuss your child's progress and goals for next year.
If you have any questions, you can reach me at Chebanse Elementary 697-2642 or e mail me at cerazmus@mail.clifton-u4.k12.ill.us. I will be happy to answer any questions.
