Hi, my name is Mrs. Hummel, I am the Librarian at Chebanse Elementary. I graduated from Monmouth College in 1977 with a B.A. and Chicago State University in 2003 with a Master of Library Science. I have been employed with the district for over 18 years.
I have been married to my husband, Marc for over 29 years. We have two daughters, Jennifer and Jessica. Jessica is a sophomore and involved with 4-H. .

It's hard to believe that the quarter is half over. The students have been doing a large amount of reading and their points show it. The AR Party for the 3rd quarter is a trip to the Exploration Station.
New Books in the library: Dear Dumb Diary series, 39 Clues series, Cabin Creek Mysteries, new Black Lagoon books, Poppleton series, and Skippyjon Jones series.
