Nash Middle School Is Producing Responsible Citizens
Helping Make The Community Better
December 03, 2012
The faculty and staff were looking for students who demonstrated Citizenship during the month of November. Students were nominated for respecting authority and obey the law, being a good neighbor, cooperating, doing their share to make our school and community better and protecting the environment. These students were randomly selected from all of the nominations: Ashton Shover, Trevor Swanson, Holly Hass, Maria Lemenager, Andrew Lamping, Bailee Schingel, Connor Call and Andrea Cooper. Each winner received a certificate and a coupon for a free meal at McDonalds. Congratulations!
Our November Staff Member of the Month was chose by October's winner, Mrs. Payne. Her choice was Mrs. Briscoe, of whom she says, "I have worked with many teachers and staff throughout the years. We are very fortunate to have quality people that work for our district. I chose to forward the inspiration award to Judy Briscoe. Judy is an excellent, devoted and knowledgeable teacher. She is patient and respectful. The school district, staff and students are fortunate to have her. A respected adviser when anyone has the need. She is hard working and down to earth person who cares deeply for everyone. She leaves positive impressions on many people (students and staff) that will last forever. I am thankful and honored to have the experience of working alongside her."
