Response to Intervention (RtI)
In May of 2012, CUSD #4 was accepted to participate in a grant being offered through the state of Illinois. This grant is called the Illinois Response to Intervention Network (IRtI). The IRtI Network works to improve the learning and performance of all students by building the capacity of schools to develop, use, and sustain a multi-tiered system of research-based instruction, curricula, intervention, and assessment by providing professional development, technical assistance, and coaching. In order to accomplish this mission the IRtI Network is focused on working with District Leadership teams to implement effective RtI practices within school buildings across the district.
