April Action!

Wow!
It's hard to believe April has slipped by so quickly. It has been a wonderful month for growth in our classroom. The students continue to amaze me with their accomplishments since the beginning of the school year.
Here's a sampling of April:
LANGUAGE ARTS: We met Ms. J with her jingle jacket, Mr. C with his colossal cap, Ms. K with her kaboom kick and Ms.Y with her yodeling yawn. Activities included making Colossal caps, writing a story about kindness and learning the remainder of our Everyday Words. We are great at using our reading voices and chopping words.
MATH: We explored measurement, quantities, and problem solving with concrete objects. Within our math tubs we discovered how to write number sentences and create various number sentences using manipulatives.
SCIENCE: The life cycle of butterflies, sunflowers, and frogs, as well as earth day and recycling.
CENTERS: April ducks, sunflowers, bird houses and other spring themes.
The above is just a taste of April and we look forward to May being just as great!
See you then!
