Healthcare Debate

Speech, World History and Intro to Social Studies Discuss Healthcare Reform:

The Central community just like many others are watching the debate that is ongoing in Washington DC. The debate is on how much influence should government have upon our healthcare programs. The students of A107 have been discussing this topic over the past couple of weeks. I would encourage the discussion to take place at home or in the community just as it has in our classroom in these three courses.

The students have been intrigued to see how everything is broken down and the fact that many policies will impact them in the next 3-4 years as much as anyone. We discuss current events on a daily basis and even reward a little extra credit from time to time for those who put in an extra effort. I encourage parents or even friends of many of the sophomores and freshmen to take a moment and discuss some of these items with these students.

Have a great Spring Break and we will be only weeks till Summer Vacation!!
