Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas,
December is almost past and soon we will begin a new year. K-4 has accomplished many goals this month.
Reading: We've met new letter people and learning new Everyday words. It's wonderful to be able to read stories with each other.
Writing topics have included insects, bears, hibernation, and the seasons. We are great at becoming brave spellers and love doing our new "Tucker" signs.
We've enjoyed learning about solid objects, symmetry, and number order during our math time. We especially love exploring our math tubs. Patterning, numeral dice toss, pattern block templates, and geoboards are among our favorites.
The children did a great job at singing their Christmas songs at the concert. It was so nice to see all of you.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
See you next year,
Mrs. Orwig and the K4 kids.
