CO-ED VOLLEYBALL CAMP

This year we decided to have a co-ed camp for grades 2nd-8th. It was held June 11th-15th. The high school girls were assigned a different camp participant everyday to help with their skills one-on-one. Each day of camp we would have fun and play games, but we would also work hard on the fundamentals of volleyball. By the end of the camp I would have to say everyone improved in many areas. I was very impressed with the hard work that they all put forth. At the end of each day we would review and they would each be awarded a popcycle for the correct answer! On the very last day of camp each participant received an individual award as well as a certificate saying that they survived camp.

Overall, the camp went smooth.The boys and girls learned the skills needed to play volleyball, they worked very hard all week, and they had fun. I would like to thank the high schoolers for showing up everyday and being great role models. I want to thank Coach Krones and Coach Lemenager for helping me everyday. Lastly, I would like to thank everyone that participated in the camp and hopefully we will see you next year.
