How can I find a book from our library?
I'm having trouble finding a book, where can I look?

How can I find a book at my reading level?
1. Go to the Renaissance Learning web site: http://www.renlearn.com
2. Select Order Quizzes along the left hand side
3. Click the Advanced Search link
4. Begin at Topic and enter search information (Interest Level=Middle Grades)
I liked a book, how can I find others like it?
1. Search for books you have liked on http://www.google.com Use the term "read alike".
Example: Harry Potter read-alike
J.K. Rowling read-alike
2. Search for books you have liked at http://www.amazon.com. At the bottom of each entry, it will generally give titles of books that people have purchased in addition to that book. It will also provide a search option to look for similar books.
**Students in the 8th grade should search for books categorized as young adult or juvenile in order to find age appropriate material.
