Hi and welcome to Title I reading at Chebanse Elementary! I am Mrs. Donna Wine and it is a privilege for me to teach as a reading specialist with the capable staff here at Chebanse. In addition to Title I reading, I have taught grades kindergarten through third in the regular classroom for a total of over 20 years. I love my job and the work environment here!
My educational training has been at Olivet Nazarene University where I have earned a BA in Elementary Education and two MAE degrees, one in Curriculum and Instruction and the other in Reading.
In addition to being a teacher, I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I have been married to my teacher-husband for nearly 40 years. We have two grown children. Our son is an optometrist and our daughter is a former teacher who now stays at home to raise her children. I have four beautiful grandchildren who all love to read with their "Nonna."
