"CENTRAL COMMUNITY UNIT NO. 4 SCHOOLS SHOULD BE INSTITUTIONS IN WHICH EVERYONE IS COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE."
The Board of Education believes that "our schools should be characterized by collegial, supportive and collaborative efforts on the part of all staff that are designed to insure that every child and every parent recognizes the value and importance of education and is able to benefit to the fullest extent possible from the opportunities available; educational and support programs shall be characterized by flexibility, creativity, high quality, and concern for the student; excellence shall be pursued in all intellectual, extracurricular and socialization activities; association with Central Community Unit No. 4 should be a source of pride for students, staff and the community."
