January days

Winter is here and with a big blast! We've also been having a big blast in Kindergarten! We've enjoyed the following activities:

READING:

We met Ms. S with her Super socks, Mr. D with his dazzling dance, Ms. U with her Unusual umbrella and Ms. V with her vegetable. vest. This month's highlights included building words with Ms. U, studying dinosaurs with Mr. D and making volcanoes with Ms. V.

MATH:

We discovered working with 10 frames, recognizing the numbers 0-20 and creating works with symmetry.

WRITING:

We have written about snow, winter, dinosaurs and vegetables. We are becoming great brave spellers and using spacing between our words.

We had a great month and hopefully we will see a January thaw and perhaps an early spring!
