Rayanne Wright - State Champion!
On Saturday, May 19, Rayanne represented Central at the IHSA 1A State Track & Field Meet, in Charleston, Illinois. Rayanne won the 400m dash with a time of 56.94 seconds! This was not only the best time in the state, but also a personal best. Rayanne is the first ever girls' track state champion, in school history. The Comet Boys Track Team has qualified 7 runners to the IHSA State Meet for May 24 at Eastern Illinois University.
