Celebrating over 40 Years of Madrigal History

by Brad Senffner

August 10, 2008

Wes Hail Good Lords and Ladies Fair, We bid thee welcome to our Madrigal site. We hope that thou dost enjoy thy time here. Please feaste thine eye upon all that is here, and above all we remind thee to be of good cheer!

The CHS Madrigals recently celebrated their 40th anniversary in this past year. This year, plans are to continue on with what has become a much anticipated tradition in the community. Mark your calendars for our Madrigal Feaste on December 13, 2008 beginning at 5:30 pm and our Madrigals in Concert on December 14, 2008. Both performances will take place in the Ashkum Coliseum. Please check back here when more information will be provided on this years events.

The CHS Madrigals have always been a community tradition and this year be no different. With a cast that includes the Ye Olde Madrigal Brass Consort and various student performers, this year’s Madrigal Dinner aims to fully kick off the holiday season with perennial favorites as well as a few other lesser known selections. This year’s Madrigal group includes: Emily B., Tara F., Isaac G., Ryan G., Carrie H., Alex H., Kevin K., Marianne M., Ryan M., Alyssa N., Megan W., and Jeremy W.

Come and become a part of Madrigal history. Bring thy family along. It will be an evening of fun and merriment.

We are currently scheduling our touring schedule for the Fall and Winter of 2008. If thou wouldst like to have the Madrigals performing at thine function, please contact Mr. Senffner at (815) 694-2321 ext. 2124 or via email at bsenffner@cusd4.org.
