Hello my name is Brian Spooner and I teach 9th grade Science and Personal Development at Central High School. I have been teaching and coaching in the Central District for the last ten years and have taught several classes besides Science 9 including: 8th Grade Science, Global Science, 8th grade PE, and Personal Development. I graduated from Greenville College with a BS in Physical Education in 1991. I became certified to teach Science after completing classes at Eastern Illinois University and Parkland College. I also recently finished my Masters degree in Educational Leadership through St. Francis University this summer. I have been the Head Football coach for the last 10 years at Central making the playoffs in all but two years. My coaching resume at Central also includes: one year of freshman basketball, four years of track, and I will be starting my first season of girls softball this spring. My hobbies include: hunting, fishing and spending time with friends and family. I am married to Leigh (12 years) and we have two boys Brian Jr. age 7 and Brock age 4.
