Evacuation of Nash Middle School/Central High School

A bomb threat was found written on the boys' bathroom wall at Nash Middle School today at approximately 12:45 P.M.  Iroquois County Police were contacted.  Iroquois County Police and local fire and police were dispatched to the building.  Students at Nash Middle School were taken to Ashkum Early Literacy Center and students at Central High School were taken to St. Peter's Parish Hall.  The police and fire departments inspected and searched both Nash Middle School and Central High School.  There was no evidence of any type of bomb found within either facility.  After receiving the all-clear signal to return from the police, students returned to Nash Middle School and Central High School  Students returned to the buildings at approximately 2:00 P.M.
